To our members participating in our retirement programs:
You may have recently received a letter from Newport Retirement Services. The letter is an annual reminder that you can change your federal and state tax withholding at any time. However, it was sent in error. You can disregard this letter and no action is required on your part. Newport Retirement Services serves as WEA Member Benefits’ custodian and inadvertently mailed the notice to you.
If you would like to make changes to your federal and/or state tax withholding, you can do so by calling one of our Member Service Representatives at 1-800-279-4030, Extension 8567. If you are happy with your current withholding election, no action is needed on your part. We will continue to process your scheduled distributions with your current elections until you make a change.
If you have additional questions about your 403(b) or IRA account, please call us at 1-800 -279-4030 or log into your account at any time.
