OFFICIAL RULES: WEA Member Benefits gift card giveaway

The contest is sponsored by WEA Member Benefits (“WEA Member Benefits” or “Sponsor”).

PRIZE STRUCTURE: Gift card amounts may vary between $25-$100.

All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply; void where prohibited. PRIZES MAY BE SUBJECT TO TAX; ALL APPLICABLE TAXES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to individuals, 18 years or older at time of entry, who are legal residents of Wisconsin and are Wisconsin public school employees. WEA Member Benefits’ directors, officers, employees, and agents, their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and grandparents), and those domiciled with any of them are not eligible.

ENTRY: No purchase necessary. Entrants do not need to have products with WEA Member Benefits.

Entrants must provide contact information sufficient to be notified by WEA Member Benefits if the entrant is the prize winner. All information provided to WEA Member Benefits by entrant must be complete, true, and correct. Limit one entry per entrant. Submissions to the Contest must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible; entries received outside the Entry Period are ineligible to win. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, illegible, or misdirected entries.

ODDS: Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. One prize will be awarded among all eligible entries.

PRIZE AWARDS: The prize will be awarded by random selection by an agent of Sponsor from all eligible entries within 30 days after the last business day of each month until the end of the Entry Period. The winner, if verified as eligible, will be notified of winning the prize within the 30 day period. The winner must respond to the notice within 30 days of notification, and if the winner does not respond within that period, Sponsor has the right to forfeit the winner’s prize and select an alternate winner by random drawing with notice to the alternate winner within 30 days of selection. Any alternate winner must respond to the notice within 30 days of notification or be subject to the same risk of forfeiture. No prize substitution or transfer is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, for any reason. Sponsor may be required by law to report prize values to taxing authorities, and all taxes and any other incidental expenses on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

GENERAL RULES & LIMITATIONS: By entering, you represent and agree that:

1. You are eligible to participate as set forth in these Official Rules.
2. All information you provide to WEA Member Benefits is complete, true, and correct.
3. You release Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
4. If you win, you will allow Sponsor to disclose your name as winner and share your photo, and you will participate in Sponsor promotional materials relating to announcement of the Contest winner, including social media and website postings.
5. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures, or other errors or problems which may occur in connection with the Contest, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, or otherwise submitting entries into the Contest; the announcement of the prizes, in any Contest-related materials, or that may limit prize fulfillment or a participant’s ability to enter the Contest.
6. Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Official Rules and to disqualify permanently from the Contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend these Official Rules, end the Contest before the end of the Entry Period, or cancel it, without notice, for any reason.

WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the prize winner, send a self-addressed, stamped No. 10 envelope to: WEA Member Benefits, c/o Gift Card Drawing PO Box 7893, Madison WI 53707-7893. Requests for the winners list must be received within 30 days of the drawing.

Submissions to the Giveaway must be received during the Survey Period to be eligible; entries received outside the Survey Period are ineligible to win. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, illegible, or misdirected entries. 

ODDS: The first 300 entrants to provide complete responses to the survey and provide contact information will receive a $10 gift card. 

GIFT CARDS: The gift cards will be distributed via email by an agent of Sponsor to eligible entries within 10 business days after the end of the Survey Period. The entrants, if verified as eligible, will be notified of winning the prize within the 10-day period. No prize substitution or transfer is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, for any reason. Sponsor may be required by law to report prize values to taxing authorities, and all taxes and any other incidental expenses on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
