HIGH SCHOOL EDITION
Our award-winning financial education game is now available for the classroom…for free!
Eight years ago, Member Benefits launched our financial learning game—Don’t Be Jack—as part of our financial education program for Wisconsin public school employees. Over the years, we’ve received many requests from Wisconsin Educators for us to create a student version for the classroom.
With the help of subject matter experts, Erich Utrie (Jefferson Middle School) and Julie Woletz (UW-Whitewater), the game content has been modified to align with the Wisconsin Academic Standards for Personal Financial Literacy for grades 9-12. The game, facilitator’s guide, and materials have been evaluated and tweaked to provide optimum flexibility to accommodate varying class schedules and educator styles.
We are excited to make the game available at no cost to Wisconsin public educators!
First time users will need to request a new account.
Click on the “Take Me To The Portal” image to register for the game. After you register, watch your e-mail for a confirmation message.
The game and all collateral materials are free for use in Wisconsin public schools. We review all requests during our regular business hours, so expect an e-mail during those times. Once approved, you will be able to access all the materials needed to run the game and will be free to return as needed.
For a quick overview of the game, watch our short video.
The game and all collateral materials are free for use in Wisconsin public schools. Facilitators must be a Wisconsin public school educator, be at least 18 years of age or older, and must register through the portal link above.
