Do you know someone who takes the time to give financial encouragement, advice, and guidance to his or her colleagues? Give that person some well-deserved recognition.

Some comments we’ve received so far for current nominees include:

  • John has been helping staff understand their benefits, WRS, and 403b options for many years, and goes above and beyond educating his peers.
  • Don runs numbers in a variety of scenarios and encourages younger teachers to have an eye on their financial future. He makes finances clearer and less intimidating.

It only takes a minute to nominate someone. Just visit

The 2017 deadline is September 1, so don’t wait! Award winners will be announced on October 16. They will also be mentioned in the fall your$ magazine and receive a certificate of recognition.
