Save money by moving 403(b) accounts to WEA TSA Trust

If you have a 403(b) account with a provider that is no longer approved by your school district, you may be able to eliminate or reduce fees by moving the money to a WEA TSA Trust account.

The number one factor in determining your rate of return—after asset allocation—is cost. Fees eat into your bottom line, so to make the most of your invested dollar, you will want to minimize the fees you pay.

The WEA TSA Trust 403(b) program charges one low administrative fee of 0.35%* and has an annual fee cap of $500. So no matter what your account balance, you won’t pay more than $500 each year.

If you choose to invest in mutual funds, you will pay management expenses assessed by the mutual fund company. In addition, you may pay a mutual fund redemption fee on shares not held for a time period specified in the fund's prospectus. One of our goals is to choose mutual funds with low management fees.

It’s easy
The expert staff at WEA Member Benefits can help you:

  • determine whether moving your money is right for you.
  • evaluate what you’re currently paying in fees, alert you to surrender charges that may apply with your current provider, and offer solutions for avoiding the fees.
  • fill out all the paperwork and monitor the transfer process with you.

To talk to someone about transfers, rollovers, and exchanges, call 1-800-279-4030. At the prompts, press 1, press 1, then 8577.

*Minimum annual fee of $25 for inactive accounts. Inactive accounts are accounts with no contributions within a calendar year.
